Special event
Open 3D printing experience day
Touch, try and talk to the community.
An open 3D printing experience tour for beginners, makers, families and everyone who wants to see consumer 3D printing not only from the outside, but up close and in action.
The idea
The tour starts with the basics and leads step by step through processes, applications, hands-on stations, community areas and the central 3D Printing Experience World. Visitors discover different printing methods, try a 3D scanner themselves, experience a playable CyberBrick City and follow the path from plastic granules to impressive large-format 3D printed models.
What you can explore throughout the day
The Community Layer Meetup is designed as an open experience tour. There is no rigid lecture schedule: visitors can discover stations, ask questions, compare exhibits and stay where it gets interesting.
Discover
Materials, printing processes and everyday helpers show how versatile 3D printing can be for private use and creative projects.
Try
3D scanners and CyberBrick City make technology tangible: from real object to digital model and from printed parts to a playable world.
Be amazed
Enterprise models, a life-size Spider-Man and other large exhibits show what planning, patience and 3D printing can achieve.
Connect
Meet YouTubers, compare printers, ask questions and visit dealers: approachable, direct and without a trade fair barrier.
Stations in the experience tour
01 · From pellet to filament
See different material stages and feel how plastic granules become filament for 3D printing.
02 · Resin printing: SLA and MSLA
Discover the process from liquid resin to finished model. The closed showcase station presents printers, post-processing and typical process steps in an illustrative video loop.
03 · Try 3D scanning
Scan an object yourself and experience directly how a real-world item becomes a digital 3D model.
04 · Household and everyday helpers
From vases to practical solutions for the home: the exhibition shows how versatile 3D printing can be in everyday life.
05 · More highlights
On the way to the centre, additional community projects, special models and creative 3D printing ideas await.
06 · Drinks & community
A relaxed area for drinks, community information, the return route and conversations in between.
07 · CyberBrick City
A playable 3D printed world for children and families. Printed parts, mechanics and electronics become an interactive hands-on station.
08 · 3D Printing Experience World
Historical and current FDM printers show how strongly consumer 3D printing has developed. Meet participating YouTubers, compare device generations and discover new possibilities in speed, usability, multi-colour printing and print quality.
09 · Central exhibit island
The focus is on large eye-catching exhibits: Enterprise models, a life-size Spider-Man and other special print projects as strong photo and conversation starters.
H1-H3 · Dealer area
Three dealer booths are planned with self-made 3D printed products, gadgets, play ideas, home products and practical everyday helpers.
Schematic hall plan
The plan shows the intended visitor route: open enough for free exploration, but clear enough to create a visible sense of progression.

Dealers, safety and families
Discover products on site
Dealer areas are planned where visitors can discover and buy selected 3D printed products, gadgets, play ideas and practical home products directly on site.
Family-friendly planning
Resin printing is shown only as a closed showcase station; liquid resin remains inaccessible. Hands-on areas are supervised and large exhibits are set up securely.
